ABOUT PARTNERSHIP FOR PROGRESS

ABOUT US
Partnership for Progress, LLC was formed on June 13, 2006 and provides services that include substance abuse treatment, anger management counseling, domestic violence counseling, and drug testing. We can also assist you in scheduling any mental health services you may require.

It is our goal to provide outpatient services to persons in Otero, Bent, Crowley, Baca, Prowers, and Kiowa. We currently have full time offices in La Junta and Lamar, and part-time offices in Ordway, Rocky Ford, Las Animas, and Springfield. We are excited about the ability to provide services at multiple sites in an effort to better serve our clients.

OUR MISSION
It is the goal of Partnership for Progress, LLC to assist our consumers by providing access to compassionate understanding counselors in a relaxed environment that facilitates self-improvement and change. The staff also excels in their depth of understanding of rural nuances and being able to connect clients to other appropriate resources.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is based upon a Cognitive Behavioral Approach. CBT incorporates the importance of actions (behaviors), feelings, social systems, and biological predispositions. We believe this broad scope allows the therapist to reach a broader audience. We believe intensely about the importance of a strong collaborative therapeutic relationship. If this is not established, the therapeutic process may never develop.

It is the CBT intent to help clients function effectively in the world without being dependent on dysfunctional behaviors or substances. This approach has also found success for those clients that are found to have a dual diagnosis. This is exceptionally important to Partnership for Progress as it begins to bridge mental health & drug abuse services and ultimately better meet the client's needs.

In respect to treatment planning, we believe that treatment planning should be client driven and focused on their individual strengths and needs. Treatment planning should incorporate all resources, personal/social/family/community, that are available to the client and provide an all encompassing treatment effort.
